Latinas
Leading
Tomorrow (LLT) was
established
in 2004 at
Wakefield
High
School. The
program was
designed out
of a need to
formulate
programming
in the
Arlington
community
that
addressed
the
particular
concerns of
the Latina
adolescent
who is a 1st
generation
college
bound
student.
That same
year our
first sister
club opened
at Gunston
Middle
School. The
program
expanded in
2007-2008
school year
to include
Washington &
Lee, Yorktown
High Schools
and Thomas
Jefferson

In November
of 2009,
eight
Latinas
united to
establish
the first
LLT chapter
in the State
of Texas.
